The War on Christian Men Part 1: The Architects of Emasculation
This is the first installment of a series of 5 articles titled The War on Christian Men: A systematic examination of how modern culture attacks masculinity.
It’s getting harder and harder to deny it: there is a widespread crisis of masculinity, and most significantly, of Christian masculinity.
The stats prove it. Male suicide is rampant, boys are doing worse in school and college, depression in men has increased significantly and addiction is killing the souls of millions.

Beyond what can be proven statistically, there’s the intangibles: how most men are completely devoid of purpose, finding temporary release from the anxiety that consumes them in sports, entertainment, video games, alcohol and pornography. How most men are lonely, lost, and on the verge of total despair.
The crisis is real. However, contrary to what the mainstream media might say, what has caused this crisis isn’t “toxic, outdated masculinity”, but something completely different. Behind this "masculinity crisis" lies a coordinated effort by specific institutions using proven methodologies to systematically dismantle manhood.
My position, which I’ll try to defend in this series, is that the attack on masculinity is not accidental, but intentional and orchestrated.
The enemy is the devil himself, who seeks to destroy the first line of defense against his schemes: men. The tools he uses? Academic institutions, governments, media conglomerates, powerful people, and even twisted men in holy offices.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
— Ephesians 6:12
Now, even though the war is against all men, I’ll try to zoom in on its effect on Christian men specifically, due to the fact that, tragically, the Enemy has found its way into our Churches. Our faith, which should be a shield against this systematic emasculation, has also been infiltrated, and the institutions that should protect us and provide us with the necessary tools to develop as men and stand firm in our beliefs haven’t been doing their job.
The fight has come to our doorstep, and I hope this series serves to awaken in you a spirit of rebelliousness to fight back against those who seek to castrate us, and provides you with the tools to arm yourself spiritually and mentally for the greatest battle we’ll ever fight.
The Tools of the Enemy
Academia
Schools and universities have been the very best allies of the Enemy. Claiming authority over the truth, academic institutions act as incredibly well-funded propaganda machines, promoting feminist and marxist ideology at every step.
Take the well-known case of Will Knowland, a fellow author and someone whom I’ve had the pleasure of recording a podcast episode with. Some years ago, Will lost his job at Eton College for giving a “a lecture which defended male aggression as a biological fact”. Will’s case is one of many cases of teachers fired and cancelled for holding positions which are even slightly “pro-masculinity”.
The academic world has been a fundamental tool that the enemy has used to subvert young minds, filling them up with terms like “misogyny, sexism, discrimination and toxic masculinity”. Universities all over the world are pushing new majors in “Gender studies”, which are nothing less than feminist indoctrination degrees, and as is evident in the case of Will and in many other cases of professors being punished for not playing along with the lies of progressives, the institutions have very clearly taken a side against men and masculinity as a whole.

I recently posted a viral article criticizing modern soap operas and detailing the effect they’ve had on those who watch them frequently. In it, I spoke very heavily against the male characters found in these shows.
My point was that none of them were in any way examples of masculine virtue, and young fans of these shows were involuntarily starting to emulate the degeneracy and effeminacy of the characters portrayed.

Soap operas are perhaps the clearest example of the masculine emasculation in entertainment, but maybe you could somewhat easily brush off how they portray men as ridiculous imbeciles because they are, after all, comedy shows.
And even though I don’t think portraying all men as completely useless is harmless —not even in comedy—, it’s true that maybe to drive the point home as to how much the entertainment industry seeks to portray emasculated men in an attempt to fight against “toxic masculinity”, we need to look elsewhere.
The Apple TV thriller “The Crowded Room” features a shocking example of this: in the series, actor Tom Holland, perhaps best known for playing Spider Man, features in an explicit, crude, extremely vulgar gay sex scene.
Think about that for a second. The actor who thousands of kids undoubtedly look up to for his portrayal of their favorite superhero gets violently sodomized for millions to see. Do you think this is just accidental, or part of a gigantic hollywood-wide humiliation ritual seeking to subvert and confuse those whose minds are still most malleable?
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen examples of virtuous manhood on the big screen, and again, I don’t think that’s an accident. Just like the world of academia, the entertainment industry has an agenda, and it’s one that is clearly anti-male, anti-Christian, and anti-traditional.
Corporations
And then we have the corporations. Every June, nearly all big companies surrender to the gender agenda, changing their logos and flying the lgbtq2341234+ flag.

Beyond this nonsense being an isolated incident, it’s part of a larger plot to undermine traditional, God-given male and female sex and twist the minds of people into one big androgynous mass of consumers.
Remember Gillette’s anti-masculinity ad demonizing completely normal masculine behavior from boyhood to adulthood?

It would be bad enough if these corporations simply pushed this agenda outwards, towards their consumers, but that’s not all that’s happening. The woke virus has these companies spending time and resources on “training” their employees on useless DEI programs, which, again, are nothing else but radical feminist brainwashing.
Government
Finally, the enemy uses the government to pass laws and regulations that further destroy masculinity. From gender quotas and “inclusive” language laws to inequalities and female preference in child custody and divorce cases, the government also hasn’t been helping men at all.
Maybe all of this is changing for the better. At least, that’s how it looks like lately. But it’s still undeniable that the cards have been stacked against us for decades.
For the sake of brevity, I chose not to include a plethora of news stories, cases, and stats to support just how desperately the modern world seeks to castrate us.
Additionally, I think we’ve all seen with our own eyes all of those cases that prove the institutionalization of anti-masculinity philosophies: the constant “diversity and inclusion” campaigns within companies, the shocking amount of feminist and homosexual propaganda in universities, and movies and TV shows that do their very best to ridicule and demonize male behavior. Because we’ve all seen it, it’s not really necessary to keep proving it.
Maintaining Hope
Yes, it’s true that the system has been rigged against us. But God’s people have always had to overcome terrifying odds. Fighting a behemoth of an enemy, seemingly unbeatable, is nothing new for Christian men.
We’ve always been outnumbered, and yet, God grants us victory.
It’s important to maintain a spirit of hope as we plunge into the darkness, for only then will we keep our faith intact and be able to bring some light into the abyss. And maintaining hope is now more important than ever, because it’s not only the secular institutions which are against us, but as mentioned earlier, even Our Church has been infiltrated, and she has also played a part —probably involuntarily— in this great campaign of emasculation.
In the next installment of this series we’ll dive deep into the problems of modern Christianity, and we’ll take a look at how the spirit of feminism and anti-male rhetoric have found their way into the Church.
