IRAN TORTURES CHRISTIAN CONVERT: Woman With Broken Spine Denied Surgery, Sent Back to Prison Cell
Aida Najaflou, a Christian convert held in Tehran's Evin Prison, suffered a spinal fracture after falling from her bunk bed on October 31. She was transferred to Taleghani Hospital, where X-rays confirmed a fractured T12 vertebra. However, she was sent back to Evin Prison on a stretcher the same day without adequate treatment, reportedly in severe pain.
Fellow prisoners protested, prompting officials to take her to a second hospital, where medical professionals recommended emergency surgery to repair her vertebra.
Najaflou, who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, had repeatedly warned prison officials that climbing to the top bunk was physically dangerous for her condition. Her requests for transfer to a lower bed were ignored.

She had previously endured several major surgeries and was still recovering from a nine-hour operation when arrested by Ministry of Intelligence agents.
During her detention — including 65 days of solitary confinement — she has repeatedly been denied access to adequate medical care.
Najaflou was arrested in February 2025 for Christian activities, including "praying, performing baptisms, taking communion, and celebrating Christmas".
Additional charges stem from her criticizing Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and advocating for Women, Life, Freedom protests. Bail has been set at $130,000 — an amount neither she nor her family can afford.

THE CRUSADER'S OPINION
She warned them repeatedly. Rheumatoid arthritis. Recent nine-hour surgery. "I can't climb to the top bunk."
They ignored her. She fell. Fractured her T12 vertebra.
Doctors confirmed the break. Recommended emergency surgery. Iran sent her back to prison on a stretcher. Same day. No surgery. No treatment.
Her crime? Praying. Baptizing. Taking communion. Celebrating Christmas.
Sixty-five days in solitary wasn't enough. A broken spine becomes the new torture.
Fellow prisoners protested. Iran took her to a second hospital. Doctors again recommended emergency surgery. Iran still refused.
This is calculated cruelty. Denying medical care as punishment. Using pain as coercion. Torture by neglect.
Bail is set at $130,000. For a woman who can't afford medical care. It's not bail. It's a death sentence with paperwork.
Judge Salavati presides. The regime's butcher in black robes.
Four other Christians await verdict with her. All arrested for the same crime. Believing in Jesus.
Iran calls Christianity "propaganda against the state." Because faith that answers to God cannot be controlled by tyrants.
