ARSENAL STAR BUKAYO SAKA ANNOUNCES ENGAGEMENT, CREDITS FAITH FOR KEEPING HIM GROUNDED THROUGH SUCCESS

Arsenal and England footballer Bukayo Saka has announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Tolami Benson after proposing at a luxury London hotel on November 17, 2025.

The 24 year old winger, who grew up in a Christian home and prays before every match, shared the news with fans through a series of black and white photographs posted to Instagram on November 28, captioned simply "17.11.25."

Saka proposed to Benson, also 24, during a carefully planned romantic evening at a top London hotel. Sources told The Sun that the Arsenal star "went all out for the proposal" and presented his fiancée with an engagement ring described as "absolutely enormous." Tolami was reportedly "totally blown away" by the gesture.

The couple have been together since 2020 but have largely kept their relationship private. They first appeared publicly together at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where Tolami was spotted supporting Saka from the stands. She has since become a regular presence at major England matches and Arsenal fixtures, including Euro 2024.

Tolami Benson, originally from Hatfield, Hertfordshire, studied public relations and media at Birmingham City University and now works as a senior planning executive in London. Both Saka and Benson are of Nigerian heritage.

Saka grew up in West London and was raised in a Christian home where his family regularly prays for his success. Before every match, the Arsenal forward prays to God and has consistently used his platform to make a positive impact both on and off the pitch through his faith.

The engagement comes during another influential season for Saka, who continues to serve as Arsenal's most important attacking outlet under manager Mikel Arteta. He has six goals and nine assists across 16 appearances in all competitions this season and recently scored the opening goal in England's 2 to 0 World Cup qualifier victory over Serbia.
