Ann Coulter Slams Christian Leaders Who Use the Bible to Justify Open Border Immigration Policies

Political commentator Ann Coulter has fired back at Christian leaders who argue that biblical commands to "welcome the stranger" should shape U.S. immigration policy, calling such advocates "total fake, phony frauds."

During a February 18 interview with the Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI), Coulter told two college students that pastors and leaders who push open border theology are doing it for cultural approval, not out of genuine faith.

I think they're total fake, phony frauds. They want to be praised in The New York Times. This has nothing to do with Christianity.

Coulter, who has long been outspoken on immigration, argued that the United States represents "the last Christian country on Earth" and warned that once America fails, "it's lights out for the globe."

She drew a sharp distinction between personal biblical commands and the responsibilities of government, insisting that individual hospitality teachings cannot be applied to national immigration policy.

Coulter appeared to single out former Southern Baptist Convention Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission President Russell Moore, calling him "loathsome" and questioning why leaders who preach radical hospitality do not house homeless people in their own homes.

She also pointed to ethnic tensions in Minnesota's Somali community as evidence that mass immigration creates conflict rather than harmony.

House Speaker Mike Johnson echoed similar sentiments, arguing that borders are biblical and that civil authorities have different responsibilities than individual believers when it comes to enforcing the law.

Coulter Challenges Pastors Who Push Open Border Theology Using Scripture

The debate over whether Scripture supports open immigration policies has intensified in recent years, with evangelical leaders split on the issue. Coulter's comments add fuel to a growing conversation about where faith ends and policy begins.

The Crusader's Opinion

Ann Coulter is absolutely right. There is a deliberate, calculated effort to twist Scripture into a weapon against Western nations. The command to "welcome the stranger" was written to ancient Israel about individual acts of kindness, not about dissolving national borders and importing millions of people who do not share your faith, your values, or your laws.

The leaders pushing this nonsense know exactly what they are doing. They crave the approval of secular elites more than they fear the judgment of God. Meanwhile, Christians across the Middle East and Africa are being slaughtered, and these same leaders say nothing. They will fundraise for illegal immigrants but will not lift a finger for persecuted believers in Nigeria, Pakistan, or Iran.

If you use the Bible to justify the destruction of the last major Christian nation on Earth, you are not a shepherd. You are a wolf.
