FBI Warns Parents About the 764 Child Exploitation Network Targeting Kids Through Gaming Apps

The American Parents Coalition has issued an urgent warning to families about the 764 network, an international child exploitation organization that the FBI has classified as a "tier one" threat to national security.

In the latest edition of their publication "The Lookout," the coalition revealed how predators within the 764 network target vulnerable minors between the ages of 8 and 17 through popular gaming platforms like Roblox and Minecraft.

Once contact is made, the predators manipulate children into moving their conversations to less monitored platforms such as Discord and Telegram, where they coerce victims into producing explicit content and engaging in self harm.

The FBI reported a staggering 300% increase in nihilistic violent extremist cases between September 2024 and 2025. By May 2025, the Bureau had opened 250 investigations into the 764 network, with all 55 FBI field offices handling related cases. The U.S. Department of Justice has charged at least 30 individuals connected to the organization.

Don't take their word for it.

That was the coalition's direct message to parents, urging them to personally play the games their children use and explore the websites they visit rather than simply trusting their children's assurances.

In April 2025, authorities arrested two alleged leaders of the network: Leonidas Varagiannis, 21, and Prasan Nepal, 20. A Connecticut teenager was also charged in September 2024 after the 764 network allegedly manipulated the minor into making a bomb threat.

The coalition outlined key warning signs parents should watch for, including sudden behavioral changes such as becoming withdrawn, moody, or isolated. Parents should also look for unexplained packages containing razors or gifts, signs of self harm including fresh cuts, scratches, or bruises, and children wearing long sleeves in hot weather to conceal injuries.

The FBI has described the 764 network as "modern day terrorism in America." The group has been identified as a decentralized, international organization sometimes described as satanic, nihilistic, or neo Nazi in nature. Federal authorities urge anyone with evidence that a child may have been victimized to report it to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov.

The Crusader's Opinion

Let that sink in. An army of predators is hunting our children through the very screens we hand them every day. These are not random strangers in a park. These are organized, deliberate agents of evil who groom 8 year olds through Minecraft and then coerce them into unspeakable acts of degradation. The FBI calls it "modern day terrorism." I call it what Scripture calls it: pure wickedness that should make every parent, every pastor, every community leader rise up with righteous fury. We live in a world that lectures Christians for protecting biblical values while an international network of predators operates freely through children's gaming apps. Where is the outrage? Protect your children. Know what they are doing online. And never, ever assume the screen in their hands is harmless.
