7,000 Students Pack Arena for Revival at Grand Canyon University: 4,300 Rededicate Lives to Christ
Phoenix, Arizona — Nearly 7,000 students filled Global Credit Union Arena at Grand Canyon University on Tuesday night for a UniteUS worship event that resulted in 4,300 rededications, 58 new commitments to Christ, and 251 baptisms.
"If last night was any glimpse of what's coming, revival is here," UniteUS announced on Instagram. "God moved in ways that only He can. So many lives changed and fully surrendered to Jesus! All glory to God!"
The event featured worship band UPPERROOM, pastor Jonathan Pokluda, UniteUS founder Tonya Prewett, IF:Gathering founder Jennie Allen, and special guest Forrest Frank, a TikTok sensation and Christian artist popular with Generation Z.

Students lined up 90 minutes before the event, with the queue stretching from the arena to the Student Union. Four hours later, students raised their hands while jumping and singing "I Thank God" performed by UPPERROOM.
Frank shared his testimony of complete surrender to Jesus: "When you fully surrender to God, when you say, 'You can have it all. You can have my reputation...all my plans.' I gave everything to Jesus. I laid everything at the altar. I said, 'You can have it all.'" He recalled attending a worship service where "I just fell to my knees and surrendered to Him. From that day, everything changed."
Prewett urged students: "Do not waste one single minute of your life. Give your life to Jesus. Go all in." She shared statistics showing Gen Z represents the loneliest generation (73% are lonely) while coping with the highest suicide rates since World War II and high rates of mental health issues requiring medication.
"I have news for you, GCU," Prewett declared. "Those statistics are changing. In 2025, the numbers have dropped."
More than 2,600 students expressed interest in taking part in college ministries, and 622 wanted to get plugged into a church. "Unite GCU was more than an event; it was a move of God," organizers stated.
Grand Canyon University is a private Christian institution that accepts students of all backgrounds. Since launching its fall 2025 tour, UniteUS has reached more than 22,000 people in less than a month. In September alone, 8,000 college students attended similar services at the University of Tennessee, 7,000 at the University of South Florida, and 9,000 at the University of Oklahoma.
Pokluda previously told CBN News that students arrive at these events ready to shed their past mistakes: "They're coming in with guilt and shame. STDs, unwanted pregnancies, abortions. And they come here and we're showing them the one—the only one—who can really deal with their sin, is Jesus Christ."
