Two Jewish Men Stabbed in London Terror Attack: Christian Bishop Demands Britain Stop the Bloodshed

Golders Green Stabbing Declared Terror Attack as Bishop Anderson Jeremiah Condemns Antisemitic Violence in North London

A horrifying stabbing attack on two Jewish men in Golders Green, north London, has been formally declared a terror attack, prompting the Bishop of Edmonton to publicly call out the cycle of antisemitic violence engulfing Britain.

The victims, Shilome Rand, 34, and Moshe Shine, 76, were knifed in broad daylight in one of London's most visibly Jewish neighbourhoods. Both remain in stable condition. One suspect has been arrested.

Christian and Jewish Leaders Unite Against Rising British Antisemitism

Bishop Anderson Jeremiah of Edmonton issued a powerful statement condemning the attack: "I am appalled by this ongoing cycle of violence fuelled by antisemitism." The bishop pledged Christian solidarity with the Jewish community, urging Britons to respond with "love and unity that overcomes bigotry."

Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis demanded "meaningful action," warning that British Jews no longer feel safe in their own country. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer convened a Cobra meeting and condemned the "appalling antisemitic attack." Israel's foreign ministry warned that "words were not enough" and demanded decisive UK action.

Golders Green is one of the largest Jewish communities in the UK and the attack has sent shockwaves through London's faith communities.

The Crusader's Opinion

When the people of the Book bleed in London streets, the Church of Christ does not stay silent. Bishop Jeremiah is right to speak. Antisemitism is the world's oldest hatred and the historic test of any civilisation. Britain is failing it. Christians must stand shoulder to shoulder with our Jewish neighbours, not in cheap solidarity but in the conviction that the God of Abraham is the same God we worship in Christ. The blood of innocents is on the streets of London. Where are the prosecutions, deportations, and convictions? Britain must act.
