Tucker Carlson Sparks Outrage Claiming Muslims Love Jesus While 4,849 Christians Were Slaughtered by Islamists
Tucker Carlson Network claims Muslims love Jesus, sparking fierce backlash from Christian leaders who cite 4,849 martyred believers and irreconcilable theological differences.
Tucker Carlson Under Fire After Claiming Muslims Love Jesus While Christians Die in Muslim Nations
The Tucker Carlson Network ignited a theological firestorm on April 14 after posting on X that "Muslims love and revere Jesus Christ," a claim that drew immediate and fierce pushback from Christian leaders, theologians, and conservative commentators alike.
The post, which amassed over 11.3 million impressions, stated: "The people in charge don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus. Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist."
The statement came in the context of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian's condemnation of a now deleted AI generated image posted by President Trump on Truth Social, depicting himself as a Christ like figure.
Muslims reject the divinity of Jesus, reject Jesus as the Son of God, reject Jesus as the second person of the Trinity. In 2025, 4,849 Christians were murdered for their faith. 93% were murdered by Islamists in Africa. But tell us more how Muslims love Jesus and His followers. Liz Wheeler, conservative podcaster
Calvin Robinson, an English Catholic Church cleric who was previously a recurring guest on Carlson's Fox News program, countered that Islam is Carlson's "blind spot" and pointed to the severe persecution Christians face in Muslim majority countries.
Dan Burmawi, a former Muslim who converted to Christianity, argued that the Quran "strips Jesus of everything that makes Him the cornerstone of Christianity," including His divinity, His Sonship, and His redemptive death on the cross. The Quran explicitly states in Surah 4:157 that Jesus was not crucified.
Christian author Eric Metaxas called the post "anti Christ propaganda," emphasizing that Muslims do not acknowledge Jesus as Messiah or Lord.
According to Open Doors' 2026 World Watch List, 388 million Christians face high levels of persecution globally, with 4,849 Christians killed for their faith between October 2024 and September 2025. Nigeria alone accounted for 3,490 of those deaths, and 40 of the top 50 nations where Christians face the worst persecution are driven by Islamic extremism.
Christian Leaders Slam Tucker Carlson's Islamic Theology Claims as Dangerous Misinformation

The Wednesday edition of TCN's morning newsletter acknowledged the "firestorm" set off by the previous day's edition but doubled down, suggesting that Americans are "generally ill informed about Islam and the Muslim world," which Carlson maintained was "no accident."
The following day, Carlson went further, suggesting that President Trump exhibits characteristics of the Antichrist, citing what he described as disrespect toward Christianity and alignment with Israeli interests over Christian concerns.
Robert Spencer of PJ Media wrote that Carlson's assertion that terrorists act not from Islamic doctrine but because "they are evil criminals" is "beyond ridiculous," noting that the Quran contains explicit directives such as "kill them wherever you find them" (Quran 2:191) and commands to fight until "religion is all for Allah" (Quran 8:39).
The Crusader's Opinion
Let me be absolutely clear: the Islamic Jesus is not the Christian Jesus. The Quran's Isa denies the crucifixion, denies the resurrection, denies the Trinity, and denies Christ's divinity. That is not love. That is a theological counterfeit designed to subvert the very foundation of our faith. Tucker Carlson took a half truth and dressed it up as a revelation, while 4,849 of our brothers and sisters were slaughtered for the crime of following the real Jesus. You do not get to whitewash 1,400 years of conquest, forced conversion, and systematic persecution and call it "love." Ask the Christians in Nigeria, Pakistan, and Iran how loved they feel.
