Tucker Carlson Explodes on Trump's 'Vile' Easter Iran Post and Paula White's 'Sacrilege' at White House
Tucker Carlson denounced Trump's vile Easter post on Iran and Paula White's sacrilege at the White House luncheon.
Why Did Tucker Carlson Call Trump's Easter Iran Post "Vile" and Paula White's Remarks "Sacrilege"?
Political commentator Tucker Carlson on Monday denounced President Donald Trump's profane Easter Sunday social media post about Iran as "vile" and warned that Trump's spiritual advisors may have convinced him he plays an eschatological role in world events.
During the April 6 episode of "The Tucker Carlson Show," Carlson condemned Trump's Truth Social message, which threatened military strikes on Iran and contained profanity on Christianity's holiest day.
Trump's post read in part, "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran." The message went on to threaten destruction of Iranian infrastructure and included the phrase "Praise be to Allah," which Carlson interpreted as mockery of Islam.
"How dare you speak that way on Easter morning to the country? No decent person mocks other people's religions." Tucker Carlson said on his program.
Carlson also played a clip from a White House Easter luncheon held the previous Wednesday, in which televangelist Paula White-Cain likened Trump's political trajectory to the suffering and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
White-Cain told Trump that she believed the Lord had revealed to her that "because of His victory, you will be victorious in all you put your hand to." Carlson called the remarks a "deal-killer" for any serious Christian supporter and said the comments appeared to be "sacrilege."
Tucker Carlson Warns Paula White May Have Convinced Trump of Eschatological Role

Carlson expressed concern that spiritual advisors like White-Cain may have convinced the president that he plays a central role in biblical end times prophecy, a theology Carlson described as dangerous.
Former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene also publicly criticized Trump's Easter post, calling the rhetoric "evil" and suggesting Cabinet intervention under the 25th Amendment.
Trump responded to Carlson's criticism by attacking the commentator on Truth Social, calling him "a low IQ person that has absolutely no idea what's going on" and grouping him with Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones as "stupid people" opposing his Iran strategy.
The Crusader's Opinion
Easter is the holiest day on the Christian calendar, the day our Lord conquered death. To defile it with profanity and threats of mass destruction is unworthy of any leader who claims to defend Christendom. And Paula White's theological circus comparing Trump to Jesus Christ is not Christianity. That is flattery dressed in religious language, and any real shepherd should rebuke it immediately. We stand with any leader when he stands for truth, but we must never confuse a politician with our Savior. Only one Man rose from the grave, and His name is Jesus Christ.
