Planned Parenthood Kills Record 434,450 Babies as GOP Defunding Clock Runs Out
Planned Parenthood performed a record 434,450 abortions while collecting 32 million in taxpayer funding as GOP defunding deadline looms.
Planned Parenthood Hits Record 434,450 Abortions While GOP Defunding Deadline Looms
Planned Parenthood's latest annual report reveals the organization performed a record breaking 434,450 abortions in the 2023 to 2024 fiscal year, an 8% increase from the previous year and a staggering 34% surge since 2014.
The report also shows that taxpayer funding reached $832 million, an increase of nearly $40 million in just one year. Meanwhile, cancer screenings and prevention services dropped by 43%, prenatal services fell by 56%, and contraception services declined by 23%.
Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, warned that despite the Supreme Court's reversal of Roe v. Wade, which returned abortion authority to the states, national abortion numbers have paradoxically risen from approximately 930,000 annually to nearly 1.2 million.
Chemical mail order abortions now account for 65% or more of all procedures, effectively nullifying state level protections.
Perkins attributes this increase to the Biden era FDA policy that permitted abortion drugs to be prescribed and mailed without in person medical oversight. He called on the Trump administration to reverse this policy as "a clear path forward" for Republicans seeking to fulfill promises made to pro life voters.
The Family Research Council president also criticized Republican leadership for reducing a proposed 10 year Planned Parenthood defunding provision to just one year. That provision, included in the "One Big, Beautiful Bill" signed on July 4, 2025, expires this July, meaning Planned Parenthood is set to regain full taxpayer funding unless Congress acts.
Among the 26 states that enacted protections for the unborn after Roe fell, about a dozen implemented strong protections. Yet the surge in chemical abortions shipped across state lines has undermined these efforts.
Republicans Face Deadline to Defund Planned Parenthood Permanently

More than 300 pro life activists from 39 states recently gathered on Capitol Hill to advocate for permanent defunding of Planned Parenthood. With congressional attention now focused on Department of Homeland Security funding, advocates warn that the July deadline could pass without action.
The organization's own numbers tell a damning story: women seeking pregnancy related help at Planned Parenthood received an abortion 97% of the time, while prenatal services, miscarriage care, and adoption referrals accounted for just 1.7%, 0.6%, and 0.7% respectively.
The Crusader's Opinion
Let the numbers speak for themselves. Planned Parenthood performed 434,450 abortions in a single year while collecting $832 million of your tax dollars. They cut cancer screenings by 43% and prenatal care by 56%. This is not healthcare. This is an industrialized death machine subsidized by the American taxpayer. Republicans promised to defund this organization and then quietly reduced a 10 year defunding plan to one year that expires in months. Every single day of inaction, over a thousand children are killed at Planned Parenthood facilities. If the GOP cannot summon the courage to permanently cut funding from an organization whose own report proves it exists primarily to end human life, then what exactly did we fight for?
