Family Research Council President Tony Perkins has weighed in on the explosive new Department of Justice Task Force report, "Eradicating Anti Christian Bias within the Federal Government," calling it the proof that an entire federal apparatus was systematically targeting believing Christians.

The report, led by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, runs more than 550 pages and documents bias spanning multiple federal agencies under the Biden administration.

Five Ways the Federal Government Targeted American Christians

Perkins lays out the documented violations clearly. Christians faced restrictions on living out their faith publicly while being told privately held belief was tolerated. The FACE Act was used as a battering ram against pro life advocates. States were pressured to deny or revoke licences for Christian foster care families and agencies. Educational institutions were forced to conform to the administration's views on human sexuality. Christian counselling services were targeted for restriction.

Perkins quotes George Washington's farewell address to frame the stakes: "Religion and morality are indispensable supports" for political prosperity. The report shows in granular detail how the previous administration systematically tried to remove those supports from American public life.

The Crusader's Opinion

For four years, Christian foster parents were told they cannot adopt. Christian counsellors were told they cannot counsel. Christian schools were told they cannot teach. Christian pro lifers were dragged through court under the FACE Act. Now 550 pages of evidence sit on the public record, footnoted, exhibited, irrefutable. Tony Perkins is right to demand the country pay attention. Every Christian must read this report and remember which party did this. The next election is not academic. It is existential.
