He leaves behind his wife Samantha, children Brexton and Lennix, his parents, and his older brother Kurt Busch, a former NASCAR Cup Series champion himself.

"We had it when I was a kid, but it was maybe a little bit more of the check the box thing," Busch reflected. "Now, I feel like it's a little bit more of sort of a way of life."
