Truth Nigeria Documents Latest Attacks as Pastor James Pam Gyang Warns That Camps in Nasarawa, Benue, and Taraba Still Operate Untouched by US Nigeria Air Strikes

Fulani ethnic militia have killed four more Christians in fresh attacks across Benue State, central Nigeria, according to Truth Nigeria reporting on 26 May 2026. The killings continue the deadly southward expansion that has terrorised Plateau, Kaduna, Kogi, Nasarawa, and now Benue for over a decade.

Why Benue Is the Next Front in the Nigerian Christian Crisis

Benue State is the heart of Nigeria's Middle Belt and predominantly Christian. Fulani militias have moved south as desertification, land pressure, and tactical opportunity have pushed their operations deeper into Christian agricultural communities. The four killed this week are added to an already devastating annual toll.

Rev. James Pam Gyang warned earlier this month: "There are many Fulani Ethnic Militia camps in Nasarawa, Benue, and Taraba." US Nigeria air strikes have hit ISIS targets in the far north. They have not touched the militia camps further south.

The Crusader's Opinion

Four more names will not make Western headlines. Truth Nigeria continues to do the work that the BBC and CNN refuse to do. The US Nigeria counterterrorism partnership must expand southward. Until then, Christians in Benue are on their own with homemade shotguns and Sunday morning prayer meetings.
