Christian Charity Pledges to Reach 100,000 Girls at Risk of Human Trafficking Worldwide
International charity One by One has announced an ambitious goal to reach 100,000 girls worldwide who are at risk of human trafficking. The pledge was made on International Women's Day, March 8, 2026.
The organization's Dignity Project recently achieved a milestone of reaching 50,000 girls across 14 countries, including Brazil, Sierra Leone, and India. The initiative combines menstrual health education with trafficking awareness training and distributes reusable sanitary pads to vulnerable young women.
Sessions take place in schools, churches, prisons, and refugee camps. Schools in Uganda reported a 19 percent attendance increase following Dignity Project events, a factor campaigners say plays a critical role in reducing the risk of trafficking.
One by One also operates several support centers for survivors. The Mercy Centre in Uganda provides residential care for trafficked girls aged six to 17. The King's Centre in Kenya offers education and family reintegration programs. In Pakistan, the charity runs outreach in brick factories and operates a safe house for those rescued from bonded labour.
No price can ever be put on these girls, because the price has already been paid in full by Christ.
Founder Becky Murray stated the organization aims to reach 100,000 girls within five years, compared to the ten years it took to reach the first 50,000.

Murray has presented anti trafficking campaigns to international leaders, including meetings at the White House and 10 Downing Street. Former UK Prime Minister Theresa May has also supported the initiative.
The Dignity Project was first launched in the UK Parliament and has since been rolled out in 14 nations, distributing pink Dignity Bags containing three reusable sanitary products, two pairs of underwear, and information about trafficking tactics.
The Crusader's Opinion
While the world pours billions into every fashionable cause imaginable, it takes a small Christian charity to actually do the hard work of saving girls from the clutches of human traffickers. One by One is doing what governments refuse to do. They are putting boots on the ground in the darkest corners of the earth and pulling children out of the hands of pure evil. Human trafficking is modern day slavery and it is a stain on every nation that allows it to fester. Becky Murray and her team are living proof that faith without works is dead. The rest of us need to stop scrolling and start acting.
