YouTube theologian Mike Winger has pledged $100,000 toward an independent investigation into Todd White, founder of Lifestyle Christianity, following allegations of spiritual abuse and financial misconduct.

Winger released a four hour video in January 2026 titled "I Can Finally Show You The Evidence," building on an initial expose from April 2025 that garnered 100,000 views within hours. Since then, whistleblowers from inside Todd White's ministry have come forward, and a petition demanding accountability has gathered over 1,300 signatures from former staff, interns, and alumni.

Whistleblowers allege Todd White misused ministry funds to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Winger has called on White to drop the intimidating NDAs preventing former staff from speaking freely and to submit to an independent third party investigation.

As of February 2026, Todd White has not agreed to an independent investigation and appears to be continuing ministry operations as if nothing has happened, even reportedly tasking students at Lifestyle Christian University to defend him online and discredit witnesses.

The Church has a responsibility to police its own.

When a ministry leader is accused by over 1,300 former insiders, when whistleblowers risk retaliation to speak the truth, and when the response is NDAs and intimidation rather than transparency, something is deeply wrong.

If Todd White is innocent, an independent investigation will prove it. If he is guilty, the flock deserves to know. Silence protects abusers. Accountability protects the Church. We stand with the whistleblowers.
