Armed Gang Storms Multiple Churches Mid-Service, Releases Only Ten Vulnerable Victims

A gang of bandits attacked multiple churches in the Kurmin Wali area of Kajuru Local Government, Kaduna State, Nigeria, abducting over 100 worshippers during Sunday services. The assailants stormed the churches mid-service, forcibly taking congregants in a coordinated attack that terrorized Christian communities across the region.

A source with family members among the victims told SaharaReporters that the attackers released around ten people considered vulnerable, but over 100 Christians remain in captivity. Authorities and security agencies in the area have been notified as the situation continues to unfold.

Nigeria's Christian Communities Face Relentless Bandit Violence

Kaduna has faced repeated deadly attacks by bandits targeting Christians. On January 3, bandits killed four members of a family during a deadly overnight attack in Kachia town, Southern Kaduna. The attack occurred near the newly established Federal University of Applied Science, the headquarters of Kachia Local Government Area.

A family member confirmed the incident, identifying the victims as Mr. Bitrus Bahago, his wife Mrs. Justina Bitrus Bahago, their son Ibrahim Bitrus Bahago, and another relative Adam Waziri.

According to sources, the attackers arrived in large numbers and opened fire on residents, leaving several others injured who were rushed to nearby hospitals.

Residents of Kachia described the attack as terrifying, noting that the community had suffered repeated assaults by armed groups despite its proximity to major institutions and security formations. The pattern of violence demonstrates systematic targeting of Christian communities across Kaduna State with apparent impunity.

THE CRUSADER'S OPINION

Churches targeted repeatedly.

And Nigeria's government does nothing.

Security forces exist near these communities but Christians still die and disappear.

The pattern is clear: bandits know they can attack churches without consequence.

They can kidnap 100 people mid-worship and face zero accountability.

Nigeria's Christian genocide continues while the world stays silent.

President Trump threatened airstrikes.

Nigeria hired DC lobbyists instead of stopping killers.

These 100 Christians need rescue now.

Their families need justice.

And Nigeria needs regime change.
