Mark Driscoll's Trinity Church Buys Massive $15.5 Million Building in Scottsdale for Major Expansion
Pastor Mark Driscoll's Trinity Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, has acquired a massive commercial building for $15.5 million as the rapidly growing congregation prepares to expand into a new location.
The church purchased the property at 10001 North 92nd Street on January 5, 2026. The two story former office building, constructed in 1997, offers 116,200 square feet of space and 378 parking spaces. It previously served as office space, a fitness center, and conference facility.
Driscoll announced the purchase to his congregation, stating:
We've purchased a big building right off the Shea and the Loop 101. Five times the parking, four times the square footage, three times the kids' space, two times the seating, all under one roof.
Trinity Church currently operates from its location at 8620 East McDonald Drive, between Chaparral Dog Park and the Loop 101. The new building sits approximately four miles north of the current campus.
The acquisition was financed with a $2,765,000 down payment and $12,735,000 in new debt through AG Financial Solutions.
Trinity Church Scottsdale Plans Major Move After $15.5M Property Acquisition

Driscoll launched Trinity Church in 2016 as a Bible study group and has since grown the congregation to approximately 5,000 worshipers per service. The church's rapid growth necessitated the search for a significantly larger facility.
Before founding Trinity Church, Driscoll served as the founding pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle, Washington, which he departed in 2014 amid controversy surrounding his leadership style and personal conduct.
The new property represents a substantial upgrade in capacity, with Driscoll emphasizing the expanded space for children's ministry, parking, seating, and consolidated operations under a single roof.
The Crusader's Opinion
Say what you will about Mark Driscoll, but the man gets results. While countless churches across America are closing their doors, Trinity Church is bursting at the seams with 5,000 worshipers and buying a $15.5 million building to fit even more. That is what bold, unapologetic preaching does. The Western church does not need more soft spoken pastors afraid of their own shadow. It needs leaders willing to plant flags, build kingdoms for Christ, and fill every seat in the house. Five thousand people gathering every week to hear the Word of God in the middle of secular America? That is a victory worth celebrating.
