Christian Band LZ7 to Preach to 25,000 Per Night on Jason Derulo's Massive World Tour
LZ7 Opens for Pop Star Jason Derulo Across UK and Europe With Gospel Message
Christian contemporary music group LZ7 announced they will join pop artist Jason Derulo on his upcoming The Last Dance tour this month as his opening act.
The band previously toured with Derulo for his 2Sides World Tour before being offered the chance to join him again for his UK and Europe tour.
LZ7 will have a 30 minute slot at the opening of Derulo's show where they will share their latest single 'Eternity', which they last performed at Big Church Festival.
Sharing Faith With 25,000 Per Night
Lead singer Lindz West addressed fans on social media, encouraging them to buy tickets on Ticketmaster. "It's gonna be killer!" West promised a "party" atmosphere and joked that if anyone started a mosh pit, he would "call them out by name."
West explained the tour provides an opportunity for the band to share their faith to "25,000 people at a time" who might not otherwise get a chance to hear it.
"I'm gonna share about faith…you know what we stand for," the singer stated. "We've got a beautiful message and that message is that everyone has a hope… a future and something to live for."
West revealed there will be opportunities for those interested to find out more about faith and get connected with an Alpha group. He appealed to church friends to pray for the opportunity.
The tour kicks off this week in Glasgow and will move around the UK, stopping at cities including Birmingham, London and Cardiff before moving across Europe.
"Hopefully you guys can enjoy it as much as we can," West concluded, "taking this amazing news out there, and putting a lamp on a stand."
