Biden Era CIA Report Listed Motherhood and Homemaking as Signs of Violent Extremism

The Central Intelligence Agency has retracted a Biden era internal document that listed "motherhood and homemaking" among behaviors associated with racially and ethnically motivated violent extremism (REMVE), raising alarm from a prominent conservative legal organization.

The 11 page intelligence assessment, titled "Women Advancing White Racially and Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremist Radicalization and Recruitment," was published internally in October 2021. It examined how women were allegedly being recruited into extremist movements.

A redacted section of the document noted that a particular group "has lauded motherhood and homemaking as women's most important responsibility." The report also warned about extremists promoting the "great replacement" theory, claiming it is essential for white families to have as many biological children as possible.

The intelligence products we released fall short of the high standards of impartiality that CIA must uphold.

That statement came from CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who announced in February 2026 that the agency had retracted 19 intelligence products on grounds of political bias.

America First Legal, the nonprofit founded by Trump adviser Stephen Miller, obtained the document and condemned its contents. The organization argued that the report effectively turned everyday American behaviors into "radicalization suspects" under the Biden administration.

This is not the first time federal agencies under the Biden administration came under fire for targeting traditional values. In 2023, the FBI Richmond Field Office produced a memo that controversially categorized "radical traditionalist Catholics" alongside domestic extremists. The FBI later apologized, saying the memo did not meet its "exacting standards."

America First Legal stated that the CIA report relied partly on information from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an organization critics have long accused of labeling mainstream conservative and Christian groups as hate organizations.

The retraction comes amid a broader effort by the Trump administration to root out what it considers politicized intelligence. Director Ratcliffe has made it a priority to restore what he calls impartiality and objectivity to the agency's analytical products.

The October 2021 assessment defined racially and ethnically motivated violent extremists as those "who incite, facilitate, or conduct violence because they believe that their perception of an idealized white European ethnic identity is under attack from people who embody and support multiculturalism and globalization."

The Crusader's Opinion

Let that sink in. Your own government spent taxpayer dollars to write a report calling motherhood a sign of violent extremism. A mother baking bread with her children, teaching them at home, raising a family with strong values, that was a red flag to the Biden CIA. Meanwhile, actual threats to this nation go unchecked. They went after Catholic grandmothers and homeschooling moms while the border was wide open. This is what happens when a government turns its surveillance apparatus against its own people for the crime of living out biblical values. Motherhood is not extremism. It is the foundation of civilization, and no intelligence agency on earth can change that.
