About Crusaders Call
Crusaders Call is a Christian news and media platform reporting on the persecution.
Who We Are
Crusaders Call is a Christian news and media platform reporting on the persecution of Christians, the defence of religious freedom, and the issues shaping the lives of believers around the world. We exist to make sure that stories the mainstream press overlooks — the burning of churches, the displacement of Christian communities, the legal and political battles over faith — are told clearly, accurately, and without apology.
We report on what is happening to Christians across the World, Christians in the Middle East, throughout Africa and Asia, and increasingly within the Western nations that once took religious liberty for granted. We cover the politicians, the policy, the conflicts, and the people standing in the gap. Our work is grounded in the conviction that the persecuted Church deserves a voice that does not flinch.
Our Mission
The reporting of Christian persecution is consistently underrepresented in global media. Tens of thousands of Christians are killed, displaced, or imprisoned for their faith every year, and the scale of it rarely reaches the audiences who most need to hear it. Crusaders Call exists to close that gap — to document what is happening, to give a platform to the people fighting against it, and to connect readers to the organisations and individuals working on the ground.
We are not neutral about the value of human life or the right of every person to worship freely. We are, however, committed to factual accuracy. We report what is true, we attribute our sources, and we distinguish clearly between news and commentary.
Our Parent Organisation
Crusaders Call operates as the media platform of Shepherds Shield, a Christian humanitarian and security organisation. Shepherds Shield is registered as a Community Limited by Guarantee in the United Kingdom and as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation in the United States, with United States federal registration through SAM.gov (Unique Entity ID: Z58QNGHKZ5P8).
Shepherds Shield operates on the ground in regions where Christian communities face violence and displacement, with personnel active across Nigeria's Middle Belt and humanitarian operations spanning Africa and the Middle East. The organisation's pillars include physical security for vulnerable Christian communities, support for internally displaced people and orphans, legal defence for the persecuted, and the rebuilding of churches and schools.
Crusaders Call is not an anonymous content operation. It is the editorial voice of an organisation with verifiable operations, registered legal status in two countries, and people working in the field. What we report on is, in many cases, what our parent organisation witnesses directly.
Editorial Principles
Accuracy first. We verify before we publish. Where a story is developing or facts are contested, we say so.
Clear attribution. We cite our sources. When we aggregate or reference reporting from other outlets, we attribute it. When we publish original interviews and features, we identify them as our own.
News and opinion are separated. Reporting is reporting. Commentary is labelled as commentary. Readers are entitled to know which they are reading.
Corrections. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly rather than quietly removing it. Accuracy is more important than the appearance of infallibility.
A defined perspective, honestly held. Crusaders Call reports from a Christian worldview and does not pretend otherwise. We believe transparency about perspective is more honest than a false claim of having none. Our perspective informs what we choose to cover. It does not entitle us to misstate facts.
What We Cover
